Mojo Hair & Beauty Salon Chorley

Salon Policies 

We have introduced a cancellation fee at Mojo's Hair & Beauty Salon, Chorley to minimise the number of clients not showing up or cancelling at very short notice. We respectfully ask that you give us 48 hours notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please telephone the salon on 01257 235110 to cancel your appointments. We do not accept cancellations via social media. If you fail to show up to your appointment or cancel without 48 hours prior notice, all future bookings will require a non refundable 50% deposit. If you change your booking last minute or are late to your appointment and there is not enough time to carry out the treatment, this will be treated as a cancellation.

Your deposit will be retained by the salon should you choose to move your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice. If you cancel or rescheule 48 hours prior to your appointment, and have paid a 50% deposit, this will be deducted from your future bill. Please note, we do not issue refunds. Your deposit will not be refunded if you give less than the required 48 hours or more notice. 

If you accumulate two or more missed appointments, you will temporarily lose the ability to schedule future bookings in advance. Instead, you will only be able to book appointments for the same day. This policy aims to encourage timely attendance and allows us to better accommodate those who honor their scheduled appointments.

We kindly request that you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Lateness may result in either a missed appointment or a reduction in treatment time, as our schedules are carefully crafted to accommodate each client's needs. If you are late to your appointment and there is not enough time to carry out the treatment, this will be treated as a cancellation.

An allergy alert test (AAT) is required before all tinting and colouring services. While we appreciate this may be an inconvenience, it is important we follow the correct safety procedures for your safety and peace of mind of both clients & staff. Reactions to hair colour and tints used in beauty treatments can be serious. There are strict guidelines from manufacturers, insurers, industry bodies around using hair colour.

Everyone MUST have a skin test – there are NO EXCEPTIONS. If an allergy alert test has not been carried out 48 hours prior to treatment, the treatment will not go ahead and a cancellation fee of 50% will be applied.

Skin and hair care products can not be refunded/exchanged due to hygiene reasons.

For pedicure appointments, kindly wear open-toed shoes to facilitate the drying and preservation of your freshly treated nails.

When arriving for tanning sessions, we recommend wearing loose, black clothing. Please refrain from using body lotions or deodorants to ensure optimal results.
