How long have you been a stylist?

I’m losing count - 17 Years. I first started as a Saturday girl whilst I was still at school, that is when I found my love and passion for hair.

Which styles or colours do you absolutely love doing/are you renowned for?

Oh, this is hard. I get asked the question some many times by guests, for colours I would say foiling. This technique can look so different from colour choices, weave and specific foil placement. It’s so much more than ‘just’ highlights. Cutting – It’s got to be a bob, classic or a spin on it – I love them.

Why do you love doing these styles/colours?

I LOVE putting my knowledge and creativity to work to make someone feel amazing- it’s the most rewarding feeling. Hairdressing is all about precision and patience!

What do you love about being a hairdresser/ what inspired you to become a hairdresser?

I love how different and varied my day can be. Creating beautiful colours and structured cuts, all whilst having interesting chats with my guests. Seeing them walking out beaming with a smile and oozing with confidence is priceless.

Which celebrity hair would you like to get your hands on and why? What would you do to their hair?

Oh, so many choices. Hmm, I think I would have to go with Scarlett Johansson. She seems to be a very versatile actress. She has the perfect skin complexion and carries off any hair colour and style. I would perfect her milky blonde then change her to a rich chocolate brown with soft caramel framing around the hairline.

Who or what inspires you to create fabulous hair?

I am more of a Pinterest kind of person and love to find stunning colours and styles. I study a picture taking in every detail and visually map out my plan on how to get there. This is why hairdressing is so unique and personal.

If you had to live on a desert island, which three products would you take with you?

Has to be the super skinny serum. Who doesn’t want a hydrating smoothing product that smells divine?

Shampoo two, thre best deep cleanser.

Dynamic skin recovery – can’t live without a moisturizer. Contains SPF 50 so perfect for that desert island in the sun.

What is your ultimate ambition?

My ultimate ambition is to focus on Mojos as a team and growing my business whilst keeping our fun team spirit going along the way. I love my holidays!! So we are taking our time visiting the new ancient wonders of the world – 1 down 6 to go!

How would you describe yourself in three words?

Ambitious, creative and a perfectionist!

How long have you been a Beauty Therapist/Salon Manager?

Qualified for 13 years. My first job was in the hair and beauty industry when I was 14, I have grown up in the industry and have loved watching it grow as I've expanded my knowledge alongside it.

Which beauty treatments do you absolutely love doing/are you renowned for?

I do love the variety that the beauty world gives to me, however as a Dermalogica expert I really enjoy the Pro60 facials, and now the Pro Power Peel. The results you achieve are amazing, this is why I absolutely love this treatment. Saying that I do love to do gel nails as I get to spend quality time talking with my guest. Oh and waxing! 

Why do you love doing these treatments?

Covering what I've put before, I do love the variety of work beauty gives me. I love how I can help people feel good about themselves. Mostly I love the relationships I form with my guests, I become a shoulder to cry on, a confident and a friend. 

Which celebrity would you like to get your hands on and why? 

I would have to go with Rosemary Ramsey. I think she is fab and hilarious, I would do a set of gel nails so we have time to have a chat and a giggle.

If you had to live on a desert island, which three products would you take with you?

Three products is a tough one! I suppose it would have to be, Ultra Calming Cleanser (I can't live without it, especially if that desert sun is blasting down on me all day) Bio Lumin C serum (for that radiant glow) Invisible Physical Defence spf30 (SPF is so important all year round, but especially on a desert island). 

What is your ultimate ambition?

I have loved growing Mojo's beauty, I want to keep seeing it grow. As well as develop the team creating the fantastic group we have. At home I love properties, I hope to expand my portfolio. Alongside creating everlasting memories travelling the world with my husband.

How would you describe yourself in three words?

How long have you been a stylist? 

I qualified as a Stylist around nine years ago.

Which styles or colours do you absolutely love doing/are you renowned for?  I love to create and complement a cut and colour together, working on attention to detail to give an amazing result and transformation.

Why do you love doing these styles/colours? 

Artistry. Obviously, this is an artistic career. I have always enjoyed creating art, and I am lucky to have found a job that allows me to do just that.

Which celebrity hair would you like to get your hands on and why? What would you do to their hair?

Jennifer Aniston, she’s always had an iconic go-to hairstyle. She carries off the understated effortless look so well.

Who or what inspires you to create fabulous hair?

I’m inspired by everybody around me.

If you had to live on a desert island, which three hair products would you take with you?

Shampoo two, lavender and mint conditioner and extra body firm spray.

What is your ultimate ambition?

I always love what I’m doing, so my ambition is to be as successful as I can.

How long have you been a stylist?

I've been at Mojos for 10 years. The first 18 months was my apprenticeship

Which styles or colours do you absolutely love doing/are you renowned for?

I love all aspects of hair colouring, especially colour corrective work. 

Why do you love doing these styles/colours?

Hair colouring can be so creative even traditional highlights or a full head colour can be made unique for a guest depending on what particular tones and shade are picked for them.

What do you love about being a hairdresser/ what inspired you to become a hairdresser?

My guests are the best part of my job and by delivering the best colours, cuts & styles that they desire is so rewarding.

Which celebrity hair would you like to get your hands on and why? What would you do to their hair?

Fearne Cotton because she always has amazing hair and I would like to know if I could achieve the same look as the celebrity stylist.

Who or what inspires you to create fabulous hair?

Social media because all the fantastic work is out there to be seen and it makes me want to try ideas but put my own creative touch on them.

If you had to live on a desert island, which three hair products would you take with you?

Super skinny serum – to control my frizz.

Lavender & mint masque – gotta do them weekly treatments.

Shampoo 2 – because everyone needs this!

What is your ultimate ambition?

To be a sausage dog momma lol!

What is your job title?

How long have you been a stylist?  

I have been in the hairdressing industry for about 4 and a half years, working in a salon previously before carrying on my journey at Mojo’s from March 2019. 

Why do you love doing styles & colours?

I enjoy every colour and style that I do, but I’d have to say I love creating natural, multi-tonal blondes which are low maintenance and grow out seamlessly. Style-wise, my go-to look on myself and guests, is a soft wave. 

What do you love about being a hairdresser/ what inspired you to become a hairdresser?

I love learning new skills and techniques constantly. But mostly, I LOVE making people feel good about themselves and their hair. My mum was a hairdresser and I used to be so fascinated watching her do hair, so I’d say my mum is what inspired me the most. 

Which celebrity hair would you like to get your hands on and why? What would you do to their hair?

I’d think I’d like to colour Holly Willoughby’s hair, she really suits a blonde, blunt bob & always styles it beautifully, but I’d like to put my spin on it. 

Who or what inspires you to create fabulous hair?

All of the stylists at Mojo inspire me every day to try new colours, formulas, techniques, tools and styles. I’m very lucky to work beside them. I also follow celebrity stylists on social media to find new trends. 

If you had to live on a desert island, which three hair products would you take with you?

I think I’d have to take shampoo and conditioner. I’m currently using the Instant moisturise shampoo and conditioner as they’re hydrating and a good all-rounder. Product-wise, if I was stranded on a desert island, heat protection would be a must. I’d bring the Cloud 9 magic potion which also has light moisturisers in. 

What is your ultimate ambition? 

My ultimate ambition would be to someday, travel the world and hopefully carry on creating hair along the way in all different countries.

How would you describe yourself in three words?

I always find it difficult to answer these types of questions about myself! but I’d have to say:

Hardworking, Particular, Proactive.
